Tecno H3 is a low-end phone with the notable Android OS and a good battery spec that enables it to deliver within expectation. One can comfortably execute the regular smart phone tasks, allied functions and entertainment with the Tecno H3.
Design
Tecno H3 is conventional, simple, handy and beautiful in its design. The phone is comfortable to hold. It is a phone that can be unobtrusively carried about. In a plastic casing, the Tecno H3 measures 113 x 62.2 x 11.7mm and is available in white, black, yellow, gray and pink colours.
Display
A simple 3.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320p x 480p or a pixel density of 165 ppi renders the display of the Tecno H3.
OS, Processor and Memory
A big plus for the Tecno H3 is that it runs on the popular Android OS using version 4.4 (KitKat). The phone is powered by a 1.0 GHz dual core Mediatek MT6575M processor and has a RAM of 512MB. With this configuration, there is a limitation to the number of apps and games which the device can support at a time. This is in spite of accessibility to loads of apps available through the Android OS. This is not unexpected for the class of the Tecno H3. However, Facebook, WhatsApp, BBM, Palmchat, Google Play, Gmail, Google Maps and Flash Share run quite well on the phone.
Internal memory is 4GB with provision for microSD of up to 32GB.
Camera
The Tecno H3 camera cannot be described as a write-off. The rear (primary) camera has an acceptable 5.0MP capacity with a considerable resolution of 1920p x 2560p and is capable of 720p video. An LED flash is provided.
The phone also has a 0.3MP front (secondary) camera with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. So, in addition to capturing moments in useful pictures and videos with the main camera, the phone affords the user an opportunity to do self photography and video conferencing with the front camera.
Battery
The Tecno H3 is not small in the battery department. It is equipped with a large capacity 2000mAh Li-po battery which enables a long battery operation time. This means that a user can enjoy the phone uninterrupted for much longer time than would have been the case if a smaller capacity battery which is usual for phones in the Tecno H3 class was used.
